The artist is currently taking a sabbatical from teaching to focus more time on creating pottery. Check back in the future for class availability.

• Class fees are $20 per hour for private lessons and $12 per hour per person for small group lessons. In addition there is a $3 per lb. fee for clay used which covers the cost of the clay, glazes, firing, and most equipment.
• Classes are available for adults and children.
• Pottery classes cover handbuilding vessels, sculptural work, and throwing on the wheel. Students are taught a variety of decorating techniques and all parts of the process from clay preparation to firing.
• Classes are tailored to fit the interests and experience level of each student.
• Students may choose to take weekly classes or one-time workshops.
• All classes are taught by Kathy Woodard, a potter with a BA in Studio Art and a Masters in Teaching from the University of Virginia.
